PlumbPatrol
Established in Cape Town in 1996. The owner, Larry Berger, has been operating in Cape Town in the plumbing industry since 1987. He is a qualified and licensed plumber with the City of Cape Town water department since 1990.
PlumbPatrol’s expertise lies in all fields of Plumbing, Leak Detection, Irrigation, and Thermal Imaging. We have two branches in the Western Cape (specifically Cape Town) and the Gauteng province.
Plumbing
Since 1987, we have been involved in all aspects of Plumbing. No job has been too big, and no job too small. We cover everything from renovations, maintenance, blockages, geyser replacements, elements, thermostats, and tap washers.
There is no product we have not seen, nor any problem we have not solved. We tackle all fields of Plumbing which include Commercial and Residential.
Leak Detection
LeakPatrol, a division of PlumbPatrol. Established in Cape Town in 1999, specializes in locating Leaks and Burst pipes via the use of electronic leak detection equipment. We are leaders in this field and have completed over 10,000 leak detections to date. We have a variety of electronic equipment to use, depending on the type of leak we are locating.
We use the Gas method, Acoustic, Moisture meters, and Thermography. Most of our client base is via the Insurance industry, brokers, assessors, and property managers.
Thermal Inspection
We use non-destructive testing techniques that involves using infrared cameras to detect and measure heat signatures and temperature variations in objects or structures. This technique is commonly used to identify potential problems or defects in electrical, mechanical, and building systems, as well as to assess the condition and performance of various materials and components. By detecting temperature anomalies, thermal inspections can help identify issues such as faulty wiring, insulation defects, moisture intrusion, and energy loss, among others.
